What this is about
Culture structures our everyday life and our society. Researching cultural practices means getting to know about different ideas of life, well-being and humanity. Cultural studies aim to describe the variety and diversity of human life. My field work takes place in the fandom of the Hannibal TV series (NBC 2013-2015). Members of the fandom suggested the creation of a website to provide information about my research and thus make it more transparent. With their help I realized the idea and created this website. I want to demonstrate why and how I chose to conduct research about fan culture and which questions I seek to answer.
